Train-the-Trainer
All of our modules can be delivered to trainers so that they have new content to use with their staff. Additionally the following module is also available as an Open Course at Woburn House WC1. The next course is on Thursday 17th July 2008.

Training in 'How To Train' - 1 day
The first half of the day
- We will look at learning in the broadest sense, and why training can be the best way for anyone to learn anything.
- We study how to engage people and get them into the right frame of mind to take on new information.
- We discuss the difference between listening and remembering, and how and when the trainees need to take notes.
- We will look closely at how a trainer needs to use their voice and body to help the trainees learn.
- We look at how to deliver completely new concepts that require people to change quickly. Additionally, how the trainer can present something as 'different' not 'difficult'.
- We work on developing a trainer's humour and insight so that they are able to be empathetic but always visionary and not too close to being drawn into discussions about process.
The second half day
- We practice and start by training each other in something we are an expert in that is not related to work.
- Each delegate then trains a 10 minute prepared session and is given feedback from the group. They then return to the least successful part that session and work on that one part and retrain it again.
- Each trainer acknowledges each other trainers greatest strengths, which in turn allows each trainer to set themselves a goal to achieve.
What happens next
We then format all the notes taken during training. We then send each trainer a copy of these notes with some specific notes for them of what to be aware of with regard to their own style.
